The QPA (Queuing Performance and Analysis) Open Problem Session The Open Problem Session is an informal seminar that is held on a tri-monthly basis. The purpose of this meeting is to allow researchers to share open problems with colleagues with the goal of facilitating discussion and joint work. Typically a session consists of two 20 minute presentations, each followed by a 10 minute discussion.
Call for Speakers: Why present at the EURANDOM QPA Open Problem Session: Working on a stochastic or related problem? Stuck with a hole in a proof? Believe that others may shed some light on the problem? Looking for an additional partner? Or maybe making progress on this problem but believe that there are several other related problems which others may work on? Also, perhaps there is some fascinating phenomena, observed numerically or by simulation which requires theoretical understanding? Or perhaps a “killer application” in mind with some related problems. If so, don’t hesitate and present the problem at the Open Problem Session.
